WHEELBASE.co.uk BIG DEMO WEEKEND 2010

Staveley, The Lake District

Now in it’s fourth year; the WHEELBASE.co.uk BIG DEMO WEEKEND is a hugely successful and popular event bringing together 140 bikes to test ride from the likes of Trek, Cannondale, Marin, Whyte, Kona, Mondraker, Yeti, Litespeed and Intense.

"Over the weekend there will be at least 30 industry experts on hand to advise and recommend you on your equipment selection ready for a summer packed full of epic rides! 200 riders in attendance and a wealth of fantastic free guided riding right from the store courtesy of CycleActive will help you unlock some of the best natural riding the UK has to offer.

This event only happens once a year and there’s nothing quite like it in the UK.

One massive demo fleet plus ‘try before you buy’ clothing from Gore Bike Wear and the tech experts from Sram and Rock Shox. 

3x FREE guided rides leaving at 10am, 12noon and 2pm each day with a choice of expert, intermediate and beginner routes. These rides will be lead by Chris Ford and his team of guides. Chris is the man behind CycleActive - one of the UK’s most prolific and respected MTB guiding and skill providers.

To top the weekend off WHEELBASE will be holding the now infamous BIG DEMO Party from 6pm on Saturday 13th March 2010 in our yard’s very own beer hall and local brewery - Hawkshead Brewery with ACDC cover band Riff Raff – back by popular demand. We promise you these boys know how to party!
