Event Description

Cycle Show will be back at the NEC, Birmingham for the second time in 2012.

The organisers of the NEC-based Cycle Show are said to be 'pleased' with the Midlands debut, following the exhibition's move from London's Earl's Court.

Visitor numbers have been revealed as 19,285 over the four days of 2011 show, including the opening trade day. Upper Street Events, the firm behind the show, also hailed their 'biggest ever Sunday'.

The move to Birmingham achieved a major objective to make the show accessible to a broad new audience, with 69 per cent of visitors having never previously been. Almost 30 per cent also said they had spent more than £2,000 in the last year on cycling related products.
