Marty Mares joins as business unit director for cycling division

Californian sports equipment and clothing company Easton-Bell Sports has hired former Trisports.com sales and marketing man Marty Mares for their Easton Cycling team.

Mares' role within Easton Cycling is to oversee the management and growth of the latest addition to the Easton-Bell franchise.

Mares boasts a 20-year pedigree within cycling related business with numerous senior roles held in sales, marketing, product development, manufacturing and business management. With notable jobs including president of the e-bike division at Motor Excellence, also as becoming CEO of the tire repair company Genuine Innovations.

Chief operations officer and president of Giro/Easton Cycling Donna L. Flood said: "Marty’s experience leading product and technology-focused businesses, combined with his deep knowledge of the cycling world, are ideally suited to help guide the evolution and growth of Easton Cycling."
