Just 50 made in initial production run, available to order now.
Orange has confirmed what was long speculated to be in the pipeline - a full suspension 29er - which the manufacturer has called the Gyro.
Utilising the proven folded aluminium chassis, the Gyro carries a single pivot design with geometry developed specifically to retain the handling characteristics of the brand's 26-inch counterparts.
The Maxle back end delivers 110mm of travel and balances with a 120mm fork to create an efficient, but sensitive ride. A standards-friendly 49/49mm head-tube and 34.9 seat-tube add front-end stiffness and dropper seatpost compatibility, while the trademark monocoque and custom butted 6061-T6 Reynolds tubing keep things very reasonable on the scales.
Just fifty of the Fox suspension, Avid Elixer brake equipped bikes have been made to begin with and these are ready to order now. Retail price has been set at £2799.99.
