1. Area sales manager

Upgrade is looking for a new area sales manager to join its team. Working as part of the Upgrade Bikes sales team and reporting to the national sales manager, the successful candidate will be based out on the road. They will be primarily focusing on visiting dealers on a daily basis, developing the sales territory and growing sales whilst also securing new business. Attendance at trade and public shows will also be required, as will some weekend work supporting dealer events throughout the year and reporting to the sales manager with market feedback and product trends. 2. European demo technician
Santa Cruz Bicycles is currently searching for a full-time European demo technician to build, service and maintain our demo fleet in Europe. The position is primarily stationed at the office in Thyez – moving to Morzine soon – but applicants must be willing to travel on weekends when necessary. Overall Duties and Responsibilities include building, servicing and maintaining inventory of Santa Cruz’s demo assets in Europe, acting as the backup for its traveling demo team, processing warranties for broken demo components and maintaining a stock of spare parts. Other duties will include providing warranty support to end consumers in France, building bikes for marketing use and staffing booths at trade shows and other events. 3. Retail sales advisor
The Bike Company is looking for a new retail sales advisor to join its team in Windsor. The shop requires a cycling enthusiast that is a friendly, helpful solution provider with excellent English verbal and written communication skills. The successful candidate must have strong numeracy skills and accurate keyboard skills. They should be honest, confident, a positive team player, have good cycle knowledge and the ability to repair punctures and build new bikes from a box with a minimum of 12 months experience in a customer facing role in the cycling/ bike industry. 4. Shop staff
With the new store partnership with X-Bionic, Velosport is subsequently looking to take on some part-time staff to work over weekends in its Putney store. Velosport is looking above all for people with a passion for cycling to work on its shop floor. The successful candidate will ideally have some retail experience already and enjoy working with people, ensuring their requirements are met and store sales targets are achieved. The shop will offer training on its bike products, clothing ranges and accessories and expect the candidate to bring the enthusiasm for working within the sporting goods arena and delivering the highest possible levels of customer service. Full job description and how to apply here.

5. Workshop mechanic
BikePark Wales is looking for a new workshop mechanic to join its team. The shop is looking for an individual with experience in delivering high standards of customer service in a bike workshop and hire service. The successful candidate will carry out all tasks necessary to ensure the service is delivered in a professional manner. They will hold a minimum qualification of Cytech Level Two and have experience of working as a bike mechanic. This will be an exciting and varied role including work in the visitor centre. The position will be full time at 40 hours per week and spread across five days including weekend work.
