1. Marketing exec
Due to the growth in the Oxford Products cycle business, a new position has been created within the marketing department that has a special focus on the company’s cycle industry activities with particular focus on social media, press relations and events. British Cycling is seeking a senior marketing officer to support the marketing manager in the planning, development and delivery of the marketing strategy for major domestic and international cycling events. From the delivery of a multi-channel, major international events marketing campaign to the provision of branding toolkits for grassroots sporting events across the UK, the chosen candidate will be joining a committed and exciting team, and will be essential in defining the progression of British Cycling. 3. Cycle mechanic and sales
Cyclewise is expanding and is now looking for a new experienced cycle mechanic and sales clerk to be based in its Cumbria shop. The mechanic role is an essential part of the success of the Cyclewise business and the successful candidate will need to be as passionate about bikes as the customers. This is a varied role ideal for an enthusiastic individual who works well in a team and enjoys the demands of a busy company. Responsibilities will include bike building, PDI and servicing of both road and mountain bikes. The ability to work on Etap, DI2 e-bikes would be advantageous. 4. Sales advisor
Swift Cycles is looking for a new sales advisor to be based out of its Spitalfields Market store. This is a great opportunity to join one of the most knowledgeable and friendly independent bike shops in the country. Experience and attributes we’re looking for include at least one year of experience selling high end bikes and custom builds, good knowledge of cycling kit and accessories, computer literacy including word and excel and great people skills with a can-do attitude and friendly, approachable demeanor. 5. Head of marketing
Based in their Darlington Headquarters, ZyroFisher are now looking to appoint a head of marketing to continue delivering market leading activations for their brands in the market. Main duties and responsibilities will include effective day to day management of the group’s marketing team within the UK and ROI markets. The purpose of the role is to plan and implement industry leading and commercially effective consumer and trade marketing activities, ensuring that the company’s brands and products are in demand in the market, enabling the company to meet its growth and profitability targets.
