1. Pre and post sales customer support
Gocycle is about to launch its new GS model and the brand is expanding its customer pre and post-sales support team in preparation for an exciting 2018. Core responsibilities will include providing pre and post-sales customer support and technical assistance via phone, e-mail, and other electronic media such as video service documentation, providing after sales support to the sales team, including contacting new customers and end consumers by phone, attending trade shows, and providing product setup and sales training resources, visiting customers and resellers when required to offer training, sales and product support. 2. B2B communications coordinator
Due to an internal restructure, an opportunity exists for a talented individual to manage and revolutionise the B2B systems and enhance retail communications within Specialized. Proven knowledge of managing and coding B2B systems and email databases are a must.  A passionate cyclist, whilst not essential would be advantageous. Key tasks will included managing the online product catalogue and B2B communications, acting as a contact point for supplier integration – EPOS/SIM, working with Sales and SBCU to supply key information and collateral to our retailers and managing the local user content for SBCU.com. 3. Course instructor and bike mechanic
The London Bike Kitchen drop-in workshop/classroom opened five years ago and now the company is expanding into a retail workshop on the same street. The new space will offer repairs/servicing Tuesday through Friday in the workshop out back, a retail space in the front focusing on commuting/cycle touring, and will house the flagship courses, BYOB – build your own bike – and Wheel Building over the weekends. All this extra work needs more hands on deck and the company is now looking for two experienced bike-folk to join the team of mechanics and instructors already aboard. The current team have all become good friends since Jenni – the director – first opened the doors so expect socialising after-hours, organised rides, and unusual events to be regular fixtures. 4. Full times sales
Alf Jones Cycles has an exciting opportunity for someone who currently works or would like to work within the cycling industry to work in its busy destination store between Chester and Wrexham. Working on its full-time team, the ideal candidate will need to be a professional and dynamic sales person who places customer experience at the top of their priority list whilst maximising every sales opportunity. They will be highly and actively passionate about cycling and have a friendly, approachable and personable nature.  A thirst for knowledge and a ‘can do’ attitude is essential, as is being a team player, experience in cycle retail is desirable but not essential. 5. Junior graphic and packaging designer
As part of Madison’s expanding development, the company wishes to recruit a junior graphic and packaging designer to join its own brand product development department. The role focuses on taking to market a wide range of bicycle accessories under the Madison broad portfolio of in-house brands. This is an exciting opportunity for any designer wanting to gain commercial experience developing product from concept through to mass production. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate the ability to manage multiple deadlines, organise and manage project workflow, work efficiently as part of a team and have a time critical manner to the highest standard.
