3.Sales manager
Johns Bikes is under new management and is now part of an independent chain with stores in Bristol and Taunton. Following recent investment in the store and its product range and to ensure that it remains the premier cycle store in the city, the company is now looking for a dynamic sales individual to fulfil this key role. The ideal candidate will be responsible for working with senior management and leading a team of sales staff and mechanics; they will be a strong communicator with determination and initiative, having operated at supervisory or management level in previous retail sales jobs. 4. Cycle mechanic/ trainer
Langley House Trust is an innovative Christian charity that provides specialist housing, programmes and support services in the community for offenders seeking to live crime-free lives. The project aims are to work with community groups to upcycle abandoned or stolen recovered bikes to prevent them ending up in landfill or discarded in the community. Bikes will then be restored or parts used to restore bikes that can then either be given or sold at affordable prices to vulnerable and disadvantaged people in the community. The successful candidate will need to be flexible and adaptable to reflect the Project's challenging and demanding nature. 5. Workshop mechanics in New Zealand
Evolution Cycles considers itself to be the premier cycle store in New Zealand with six specialist bike stores throughout the country. The company is currently expanding its workshop department which presents an opportunity for a new mechanic in the team. Multiple positions are available in Auckland, Christchurch, Hamilton and Tauranga. While the mechanic will be responsible for bicycle repairs, the ideal candidate must feel equally comfortable to talk to customers about their cycling needs.
