'Second largest' global bicycle manufacturer to be distributed via the Netherlands
Ming Cycles, supposedly the second largest bicycle producer in the world, will be bringing its extensive range to the UK, including a new range of folding bikes, a territory previously uncovered by the company.
According to Bike Europe, the distribution of the cycles will come via Netherlands company, Strida BV. Ming cycles, who reportedly manufacture over four million units per year, recently purchased Strida.
Previously Strida sales used to be internet exclusive. From the end of February, however, a small number of UK dealers will adopt Strida bicycles. It is believed that flagship stores will eventually be selected to sell the complete Strida range of cycles, accessories and novelties.
