Rumour mill suggests legendary Waltham Abbey dealer will soon close
The phone lines are dead, there are messages of commiseration and people asking 'why' all over their Myspace page, rumours too, have been circulating for the past few weeks that the BMX giant will soon be closing for reasons yet unknown.
Cyclone Cycles has long been warmly smiled upon by thousands of BMXers for their love of all things 20", via event sponsorship and heavy industry involvement.
Unfortunately the phone line was dead when BikeBiz rang this morning.
Perhaps the closure is down to staff involvement in the Bicycle Union brand, surely whatever the reason, the guys who ran the shop likely will not part ways with their 20" ties.
The website has been void of stock for a few months now and their forum long fallen silent. Let's hope there's an explanation…
