Comments (2)

Kings Cross, London store will open at the end of May

Following the relocation of the European rail link from Waterloo to St Pancras and the extensive renovation of the station, a new CycleSurgery will open in the heart of King’s Cross. The shop will open its doors at the end of May 2008.

The latest store will be a clear, uncluttered retail space that shows off the cycle brands and accessories. There will be a fully equipped workshop with qualified mechanics using the latest tools and technology to maintain and service every bike from commuting and folding through to racing and downhill.

The new CycleSurgery is situated a minutes walk from King’s Cross, St. Pancras at the junction of two major cycle routes (Pentonville Road and King’s Cross Road). The 5,500 square foot showroom will make shopping for cycle related products convenient for cycle commuters and enthusiasts arriving into the busiest transport hub in London.

Cycle Surgery now has 15 stores nationwide.

Sounds good. Have you any pics of the store? Or any other CS stores interiors and exteriors? How green are they with their store design? LED lights? Photovoltaic cells on the roof? Using rainwater for their toilets? Solar HWS. It's all very well selling products that are contributing less CO2 but we should be looking at what we can do in designing our businesses that way too.

sounds like an incredibly good location for catching a large portion of London's commuters. Sensible business planning considering every other shop i'm in contact with are seeing consitant rises in foldables etc..
