Masiguy crocked in velodrome crash

Tim Jackson of Masi Bicycle in the US was badly injured in a 30mph smash in the San Diego velodrome on Tuesday night
Jackson, who blogs as Masiguy, hit the boards trying to avoid another rider. He was knocked out for five minutes and his extensive injuries include a broken rib, a nearly severed right thumb, a blood clot behind his left eye and three cracked vertebrae in his neck.
He's at Scripps Mercy Hospital in San Diego, room number 1024. There are more updates here and here.
'Blue Squirrel' - a friend of Jackson - is setting up a PayPal fund to "to help him get through this unfortunate accident and the time lost away from work and to cover some of the uncovered medical costs."
