John Burke bigs up Macs on Apple.com video

Trek Bicycle Corporation has been given a juicy video profile on Apple.com.

Click via that link to watch the video of Burke and the Trek marketing department, which is exclusively on Macs.

The site says Trek is for "whether you’re a professional bike racer—like 2008 Giro d’Italia Champion and Trek-athlete Alberto Contador, a recreational rider, or a commuter who uses a bicycle as a daily mode of transportation.

"With over 1,700 retail locations throughout the U.S. and Canada, as well as subsidiary offices in Europe and Asia and distributors in 90 countries around the globe, Trek bicycles are sold worldwide through an exclusive network of independent bicycle dealers."

Trek University, the online and offline training program from Trek, stars in the Apple video.

Apple said: "Trek Bicycle Corporation, in conjunction with design agency Planet Propaganda, takes designs created in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator and combines them with video in Final Cut Studio to deliver video podcasts. The podcasts are available to their sales teams and dealer network around the world utilizing a password protected extranet site.

"These video podcasts may be viewed on many devices ranging from web delivered video viewed on a computer, to mobile devices like iPod and iPhone, and large-screen televisions with Apple TV."

And Trek turn out to be the only Company in the World capable of making Macs look boring...

Just kidding. It's surprising just how widespread Mac are in the Bike Business. Nice to see it being brought to light.
