Cycloc to roll out retail display units
The British-designed, award-winning bike storage device is not just for consumers, Cycloc Ltd. is soon to reveal stackable units for bike shop displays.
The Cycloc bicycle hanging device has been winning awards in the design community for the past year and was revealed to the bike trade at last weekend's Cycle Show at ExCel, London.
Designer Andrew Lang has won first prizes in the D&AD and Matthews Wrightson Product Award design awards, and has also won young entrepreneur awards for his start-up business, Cycloc Ltd., an offshoot of Andrew Lang Product Design Ltd.
The Cycloc will be available for sale by early November. Individual units will retail for £49.95 but Cycloc Ltd. will also have trade prices for IBDs which want to stock the item.
"As production ramps up the Cycloc will evolve into a modular racking system with two tier, post and gondola mounted back to back units and slat wall versions," Lang told BikeBiz.com.
"This range will provide bike retailers with various options for window and shop floor display."
The central area of the retail display Cycloc can be illuminated and custom insert logo panels back lit.
