PRESS RELEASE
At its meeting on 1st November the council of the Bicycle Association accepted the resignation of John Carrington Beard. This will take effect on 1January 2001. In the interim John will be working to finalise proposals for the 2001 cycle promotion campaign.
This presents the BA with an opportunity to reconsider staffing requirements and a decision on recruitment will not be taken until the current discussion on cycle promotion projects have been concluded.
