Nuke Proof springs back into action

MTB Distribution, distributor of Be One, Viper’s Concept, NC-17 and Electra, is to reintroduce Nuke Proof products to the UK.
Ed Ibbotson of MTB Distribution said Nuke Proof is "an Old Skool über-cool brand that’s famous for producing innovative, desirable and technologically advanced products."
The first product to be wheeled out is the Shockwave titanium suss spring.
Ibbotson: "In all aspects of mountain biking there is a constant search to reduce overall bike weight. There are fewer ways that are easier and more effective at reducing weight than switching to a titanium shock coil. Not only does it offer a weight saving of up to 50 per cent compared to a steel spring but it also improves suspension dynamics due to better high frequency response and offers a better fatigue life when compared to a steel coil. Although similar weight savings can be achieved using an air shock there is no match for the suspension performance of a Titanium sprung coil shock."
The Nuke Proof Shockwave spring has been designed with a relatively open coil to further reduce weight and enhance compatibility, it’s also sized to fit most high-end rear shocks such as Fox DHX, 5th Element and Manitou Swingers.
Availability is from round about now.
