Liverpool IBD killed on bike ride by 'dangerous' driver

Mel Vasey, owner of Quinns Bike Centre, was killed while on a Sunday morning training ride with Birkenhead North End Cycling Club. Two other club members were hurt in the incident.
The BBC reports that the crash took place on the A540 and that a man has been arrested and bailed, accused of causing death by dangerous driving.
