IHT plugs electric bikes

The International Herald Tribune today carries a business story on the surging sales of e-bikes
"From California to China, 'e-bikes' are taking off as an alternate means of transportation, after years of being overshadowed by their muscle- powered cousins," writes Carolyn Whelan of the International Herald Tribune.
Electric bike proponent Ed Benjamin told the IHT reporter: "E-bikes have been under the radar. Now 20 million units a year sell. The business is young and growing crazy fast."
