Lance buys into sports nutrition company

But it's not Powerbar.
Lance Armstrong - famously sponsored by Powerbar during his Tour de France years - has bought into New Sun Nutrition, maker of FRS sports drinks. He also becomes the company spokesman.
FRS makes antioxidant health drink concentrate, chews and powdered drink mix.
Armstrong will be New Sun Nutrition's chief spokesman and will join the company's board of directors.
The seven times Tour de France winner will also appear on FRS product packaging and print ads.
FRS, which stands for 'Free Radical Scavenger', contains a patented combination of vitamins, metabolic enhancers and two flavonoids: quercetin, an antioxidant typically found in the skins of apples, onions and red grapes; and catechins, extracted from green tea.
The product was initially developed to fight fatigue in cancer patients on chemotherapy.
Armstrong said: “[FRS] is a healthy choice for energy that last hours not minutes. It fits in line with me wanting to live to be ninety. It fits in line with me wanting to keep running marathons, riding my bike, being fit and having fun.”

Thanks
