Hotlines of Cornwall joins forces with MTB Distribution based in Edinburgh. This brings Hayes, Azonic, Manitou from Hotlines and Electra and Viper from MTB Distribution
The merger takes effect on 18th June and the new company will be known as Hotlines Ltd.
Hotlines has been in business for 20 years and is the UK distributor for Hayes, Azonic, Manitou, Sun Ringle, Michelin, Straitline, Goodridge, Foes, Fire Eye and other brands.
MTB Distribution was founded last year and is the UK distributor for Electra Cruisers, Viper, NC-17, Proceed, Da Bomb and NukeProof.
The new company will be headed up by MTB Distribution's Illy Anastasi with Mark Pemberton of Hotlines continuing as a consultant.
The sales offices will continue to run at both Cornwall and Edinburgh with a shared, centralised stock.
Pemberton said: "This is a great opportunity for the company to grow and meet the challenges of a rapidly consolidating market."
Anastasi said: "I am really excited that two of the industries most distinctive distributors are joining forces to develop the huge potential of all their combined brands."

After 100 miles on this new fork a hiss of air was heard on the left hand leg, pressure lost and the rubber oil seal raised about 7mm, it could be pushed back into place but the fork will not retain any air pressure higher than 15 psi. Manitou advise this is probably the air head O rings worn. Can you tell me if this is something you have experienced before, should it have occured after ionly 100 miles, what parts are needed to repair and if this should be warranty repair. Unfortunatley I purchased the forks via E bay from USA so can not go back to the supplier.
