SRAM: Priest elevated; van Beek exits

SRAM Corporation has "evolved" its general management and sales structure in Europe
Martin van Beek, General Manager of SRAM Europe, has elected not to accept an evolved General Management role and will exit the company. He has been with the company since 1993.
Robert Priest, formerly head of Global Aftermarket Sales has assumed Director of Sales for all OE and Aftermarket Sales in Europe. Priest also maintains responsibility for SRAM’s dealer marketing.
Patrick Brandwagt will assume General Management responsibilities for SRAM Europe overseeing SRAM’s Amersfoort location and customer service operation.
A statement from SRAM said: "SRAM appreciates the significant contributions Martin made to growing SRAM’s European business and establishing SRAM as a leading component provider to the bike industry. We wish him well in his future endeavours."
