New Zealand DH brand on stand E19

New Zealand downhill brand 2Stage bikes will take a stand at Cycle '08 in a move to promote the double shock bikes to the UK trade.

One shock is tailored for small bumps and a second shock tailored for big bumps. While the second shock automatically locks out during pedalling efforts, the first shock remains active for the small bumps, making it an incredibly efficient bike to pedal and giving the rider utmost control in more extreme environments. The transition from first to second stage shock is sequential and totally seamless.

Since establishing a UK Manager, Peter Evans, and UK distribution centre earlier this year, 2Stage has been on the scene attending national race events and giving dealers and riders the opportunity to demo their bikes. Team Fenwick’s have recently jumped on board with four of their riders preferring to ride 2Stage.

Pearce Cycles have also been impressed by this new technology and added 2Stage to their  stockists list.

“The UK MTB scene is where it’s at. We have a unique system and it’s been received with such enthusiasm here in the UK.  We work closely with our retailers – we’re passionate about mountain biking as well and want to make it work for everyone.  These are special bikes, they perform at a very high level and require little set-up and maintenance.  People are really talking about them on the tracks and online,” says Peter.

An accredited dealer network is set up and continually increasing across Wales, Scotland and England. Evans will be at the London Cycle Show from October 9th – 12th at stand E19.
