Boost your brainpower, fix your bike
Carlton Reid Oct 22 2008, 10:29am
Government's Foresight report on mental well-being says mending your bike is good for the brain.
Lots of bike shops offer public maintenance classes. Until now this was thought to be good for a cyclist's wallet, now it's revealed it's also good for the brain, too!
The UK's Government's Foresight report on mental well-being, published today, says activities such as gardening or learning how to mend your own bike, are key ways to keep the mind active, and stave off mental illness.
The think-tank's Mental Capital and Wellbeing report suggests people should take up new social and personal activities, with fixing bikes second on the list.

I want to use my brain a little more. Is there a link to the report?

Too Funny....the link came through after the banner add and showed up after my post. I either got an instant wish, or the ad shows how easily I'm distracted. Guess I need to work on my bike a little more.
