Government's Foresight report on mental well-being says mending your bike is good for the brain.

Lots of bike shops offer public maintenance classes. Until now this was thought to be good for a cyclist's wallet, now it's revealed it's also good for the brain, too!

The UK's Government's Foresight report on mental well-being, published today, says activities such as gardening or learning how to mend your own bike, are key ways to keep the mind active, and stave off mental illness.

The think-tank's Mental Capital and Wellbeing report suggests people should take up new social and personal activities, with fixing bikes second on the list.

Too Funny....the link came through after the banner add and showed up after my post. I either got an instant wish, or the ad shows how easily I'm distracted. Guess I need to work on my bike a little more.
