Fly Bikes 45/45 inspired bottom bracket shell 'definitely doesn't work'
Fly Bikes 'BB2' protoype testing has concluded that the 45/45 inspired system will not reach the market.
A statement on the brand's website reads: "The spanish BB2 definitely doesn't work. Over the last two years we have tested several bearing sizes and designs but these kind of bearings can't hold a hard abuse.
These kind of cone shape bearings are not suitable for a bottom Bracket."
