Giro debut new TT at Tour de France

Latest helmet - still in development stages - to get tried out at Prologue
Tomorrow at the Tour de France Prologue in Monaco Giro will give the world an early look at its it’s new TT helmet in action.
The aerodynamic prototype is still in development stage, and has yet to be named – the G-284-TT being its product code number only.
Giro has released a video covering some of the helmets features and developments.
Kevin Franks, Giro Brand Manager said: “Based on extensive wind tunnel and ride testing, we can report that the new Giro TT helmet that will debut on Giro riders tomorrow in Monaco is the fastest TT helmet in the world.
"The helmet is considerably faster than any other helmet in zero degree yaw situations, and remarkably faster in 5, 10, and 15 degree yaw situations. The helmet represents a paradigm shift in aerodynamic helmet technology.”
