Victim seeking $1.5 million payout after YouTube evidence emerges

A cyclist who was assaulted by an NYPD cop during the annual Critical Mass bike ride is suing the NYPD for $1.5million.

"Nobody would have cried foul if it wasn't for that video," said Long's lawyer, Jonathan Moore.

The video can be seen here.

It is alleged that former officer Patrick Pogan tried to conceal the facts about what happened on the day of the incident. The NYPD went on to fire Pogan for filing a false report of the incident.
