Firm follows up Land Rover models with road-specific product

2x2 Worldwide is set to bring a new road model line-up of bikes to the UK, with the first from the range arriving in three weeks.

According to the firm, the Race model is already 80 per cent pre-sold.

The Race model range follows 2x2's Land Rover lines.

“We have been bowled over by the success of the commute and flat bar bikes in the 2010 Land Rover range launched last September," enthused 2x2 sales director Scott Hillyard.

"After constant prompting from our customer base we are now launching road specific product for 2010.

“I think a combination of our reputation for quality product and the key market positioning of this particular model have helped enormously.”

The Race features a lightweight 7005 Alu frame, carbon forks, 16-speed Shimano STI's, Shimano chain set and Mavic rims and will retail for under £500.

Interested dealers should contact the firm at sales@2x2worldwide.com.
