And event will now span ten days
The Tweedlove Bike Festival is returning to the Scottish Borders next year with a new headline sponsor – Alpine Bikes.
The event will now run for ten days including the double bank holiday in early June, in the Tweed Valley, from May 26th to June 5th 2012.
Tweedlove’s flagship event – the seven-hour Glentress Seven will next year be held on Saturday June 2nd. An extended programme of events for the road and mountain biking fiesta will also include a new 'all-mountain' enduro, with timed sections on a course with 'a bit of everything'.
The event organisers said: "Alpine has been getting involved with much cycling activity in the Tweed Valley and it's a deal which should work well for everyone."
