Robust, low-maintenance bikes, bike fashion and more at the August cycle event
Munich's ISPO Bike is capitalising on the growing market of 'bicycles as fashion and lifestlye objects' at the event next month.
The show, running from August 16th to 19th, will include an Urban and Innovation Hall, hosting innovations from apparel, bikes, accessories and components. Boo Bicycles' bamboo bikes will feature alongside Urbike's customisable colourful singlespeed bikes and Biceco, Georgia in Dubline, MTB Trachtn, Nice One, Ripcap, Solowheel and Totem Bikes. Danny MacAskill will make an appearance in the Urban section too.
Elsewhere at ISPO Bike, the Central Park area will feature 'Velochic' - robust, low-maintenance bikes - and lifestyle brands like Chrome Shoes, Nutcase, Polo & Bike, Realflex, Retro Image Apparel, Used and Velosophie.
Attendees will also get a look at bike wear fashions set to be in trend next season, with apparel exhibitors like Assos, Bikesuit, Craft, Löffler, Platzangst, rh+ / zero rh+, Ziener, Zimtstern and X-Bionic present their collection highlights on the Fashion Catwalk.
Exhibitors including Uvex, Alpina, Abus and others will also show off their cycle chic offerings at Messe München.
