EUROBIKE 2010: Trio among 12 winners of top prizes
The Eurobike Gold Awards took place last night, honouring innovation in the bicycle business.
565 entries were submitted for the awards, 92 of which picked up an award, with 12 picking up a Gold award.
The Gold winners included Bohle’s Schwalbe Marathon touring tire, Cannondale’s Schwinn Vestige and Cube’s full suspension AMS super HPC.

Road bike: Impec, BMC

Clothes: Huez footwear, Mavic
Electronic components/components: Velo Comfort by Reevo (drive unit), Alfred Thun
Accessories: Sqlab 611 active saddle, SQ-lab
Accessories: AXA Nano Plus headlight, Axa Stenman
Accessories: Augsburg M shoulderbag, Vaude
Accessories: Burley Tavoy urban trailer system, Burley
Accessories: Schwalbe Marathon touring tire, Bohle
Klimax’s special-purpose trike (with rain cover) bagged the Green Award.
Among the other Eurobike Award Winners were KTM – for its eGnition e-bike, Dahon for the Vector X10 folding bike, the Niner Carbon Fork, Shimano’s XTR MTB component group and the Garmin Edge 800.
Knog’s Sausage locks and Kenesis’ GL-11 racing fork also picked up awards, as did Abus for its e-bike Urbanaut.
