They're bikes Jim, but not as we know it...
Actor, author, director, music artist and former Captain of the Enterprise, William Shatner has been boosting PR for the Pedego line of electric bikes.
North-Hollywoood IBD Metropolis Bikes supplied Shatner and his wife Elizabeth but weren't phased by their starry customers, having served a number of celebrities with bicycles over the years.
Metropolis Bikes owner Brad Wasser also couldn't resist some Star Trek-based comments: “It’s a pleasure to put a Hollywood icon on a quality e-bike that will boldly take him where no e-bike has taken him before.”
Shatner commented: “This bike is made of so much quality. You can tell. I really love the silver brushed aluminum finish.”
Metropolis Bikes is located at 4660 Lankershim Blvd., North Hollywood, California.
