CeramicSpeed salutes Tom Boonen on his last Paris-Roubaix race

CeramicSpeed is honouring the career of rider Tom Boonen with a congratulatory set of golden pulley wheels as the celebrated Belgian rider pursues his fifth victory at Sunday’s Hell of the North Paris-Roubaix race.

Ending a successful career of 16 years at the highest level of the sport, Boonen has set his sights on a record-breaking fifth victory at Paris-Roubaix – a race that has truly helped establish his status in professional cycling. With six finishes on the podium of the race, the 36-year-old has left his footprints on the top step in 2005, 2008, 2009 and 2012.

Ending his career at the race where he managed to climb onto the podium in his first year as a professional, Tom Boonen has built an impressive palmàres of far more than 100 wins. The highlights include three victories at the Tour of Flanders, three victories at Gent – Wevelgem, five victories at E3 Prijs Vlaanderen, six stage wins at the Tour de France and a gold medal at the World Championships Road Race in 2005. He also won the Bronze medal at last year's World Championships Road Race in Qatar.

To pay a tribute to his achievements, CeramicSpeed will present the rider with a unique set of golden pulley wheels. The celebratory set of pulley wheels is a personalised edition, with his four victories engraved.

Assembled by hand and engraved at the company’s facility in Denmark, the unique gift has been specially commissioned for him. CeramicSpeed commented that it looks forward to seeing how the race unfolds this weekend and congratulates Tom Boonen on his brilliant career.
