Sadly not a bike retail simulator, but a road racing game for iPhone and iPad

Players get rewarded for winning races with virtual bikes from Vitus and virtual wheels from Mavic. However, there will be monthly giveaways for the top finishers, with Vitus road bikes, wheelsets from Mavic, GPS computers from Garmin and nutrition bundles from High 5.

• Keep hydrated as you speed through city centres and rolling hills on a host of challenging circuits.
• Beat the competition to unlock new bikes and gear (including equipment from Vitus and Mavic).
• Challenge computer controlled competitors or a friend (via Bluetooth) to a road race, or enter a time trial and compete against the clock.
• See how your times stack up against the world on Game Center.

Is it not a bit of a fail having a heavily sponsored app (Mavic/Garmin) being paid for? £0.69 would have been off putting for me, but when I found this on iTunes just now, I see it costs a whopping £1.99 which prices it higher than most apps! Or at least at launch of app, have it free to generate the interest. £1.99 out of the gate seems a bad way to start what might be a good product.

0 0It's a bit of an interesting one this - there are going to be monthly prize giveaways to the best players from the sponsors, as the story mentions. And now I come to think of it, I'm not sure any other game has done that on iTunes that I know of (unlikely at the lower price points I guess), so this game does have an extra incentive to purchase.

0 0I think it's a great venture for CRC and proof they are thinking outside of the box. Was just surprised to see a cost that made the app a considered purchase for me.
