Cycliq appoints Fusion Media as its UK PR agency

The camera and lighting specialist Cycliq, who is distributed exclusively in the UK by Raleigh, have announced the appointment of Fusion Media as its UK PR agency.

Perth-based Cycliq is the technological innovator behind Fly6. Successfully funded on Kickstarter in March 2014, Fly6 is a rear-fitted HD camera and light. In February a front facing camera and light named the Fly12 was launched on Kickstarter and was funded in 2 hours.

London-based Fusion Media are specialists in the cycling and endurance sport markets. The agency will manage all of the company’s UK PR requirements, focusing on broadening the reach of the Fly6 and Fly12 products to the national audience of recreational cyclists and commuters.

Cycliq’s Fly6 is now widely available to the public after its launch on Kickstarter. The combined camera and rear light on the Fly6 offers 720p video & audio recording from behind in HD. A light output of up to 30 lumens ensures the user is visible to all road users when cycling. The device has up to 6 hours of camera and light function.

Andrew Hagen, CEO of Cycliq, said: “The UK is a big opportunity for us as a company and the UK cycling market showed considerable support for us when we launched the Fly6 and Fly12 on Kickstarter. We’re delighted to have the UK cycling experts on board to help us reach a wider audience in this key territory.”
