Fisher Outdoor Leisure takes on PowerBar

Nutrition brand will be available from the distributor next month and will feature at February's Expo show

Fisher Outdoor Leisure has announced that it will be the exclusive distributor, from February 1st 2013, for the PowerBar range for the UK cycle trade.

The well known sports nutrition brand has been operating since the early 1980s.

“By partnering with PowerBar we are working with a brand that has huge credibility with both retailers and consumers," enthused Mike Cook, sales and marketing director at Fisher.

"PowerBbar's commitment to innovation and athlete education is second to none and we’re excited to be working with them at a time when endurance sports are seeing such large increases in participation. We’re looking forward to working with the team at Powerbar to help them meet their strategic goals in the UK cycling market and the full range will be available to see, and try, at Expo 2013 at Sopwell House from February 18th to 20th," Cook added.

The range will be available from Fisher Outdoor Leisure from the end of January 2013. PowerBar was formerly distributed by Zyro.
