'Spanish bb2' on test
Among plenty of other projects spotted on the Fly Bikes website, the Spanish BB2 has been unveiled. The bearing design seemingly takes inspiration from a 45/45 headset.The website states: "the system has the same bearing style as a headset, meaning it's easy to install. No more hammers." (i'm sure it means bearing presses?)
Other projects seen by following this link include a 'strip' inner tube, eliminating the need to remove the back wheel to replace a tube. Fly also has a brake lever in the works, designed minus a barrel adjuster, which notoriously have weak threads.
