GB Cycling team scooping more Golds than in any other sport

Great Britain's eigth medal and third gold has just been won in the men's team sprint event.

Chris Hoy, Jason Kenny and Jamie Staff have just out sprinted world champions France in Beijing to take the Gold medal.

Bradley Wiggins is likely through to the first stage of the individual pursuit after breaking the individual pursuit record in a time of 4:15.031 - the fifth fastest of all time, according to the BBC.

Wendy Houvenaghel and Rebecca Romero set the two fastest times over 3km in the women's pursuit raising the prospect of an all-British final.

The US track cycling team may have performance-enhacing air but Team GB have designer rugs.
