White cycles chained to railings as memorials and danger spot indications
The US project 'Ghost cycle' has come to the UK. The memorial service takes a bicycle and paints it 'Ghost' white. The painted cycle is then placed at accident scenes and hotspots to deter motorists from speeding.The service also collates accident reports involving cyclists. If you have information or were a witness to a cycling related incident, then contact Ghost cycle.
Last year more than 130 cyclists were killed on UK roads.
