It has been revealed that the route through Treviglio on stage 19 of the 2004 Giro d'Italia will take the riders past the Bianchi HQ.
Bianchi may not have a team in any of next year's Classics - or a team at all - but the bike brand famous for its celeste green paint will still have a presence in the Giro d'Italia, reports cyclingnews.com.Stage 19 from Bormio to the Pass of the Presolana takes in Treviglio and there's to be a photo-op detour via the main Bianchi factory in Italy.
According to cyclingnews.com, the Bianchi roll-past came at the request of former Bianchi pro Felice Gimondi.
