ITV1 and ITV4 simulcast coverage gives broadcaster a bumper Sunday
The final stage of the Tour de France drew over 3.6 million viewers at its peak to both ITV1 and 4 on Sunday afternoon.
Wiggins' triumph drew a five minute peak audience of 2.6 million on ITV1's live coverage, with a further one million catching the action on a simulcast showing on ITV4.
The average view count was as high as 2 million viewers, which trumps last Sunday's repeat of Columbo, which averaged 1.1 million.
ITV4's simulcast averaged 627,000 viewers.
