There has been a management buyout of the bicycle helmet division of Lazer SA
The new company, Lazer Sport NV, will be based in Antwerp Belgium. The MBO was led by division manager Sean van Waes and sales manager Peter Steenwegen.
Lazer will remain as the helmet brand name of the new company.
Lazer was founded in the 1919 and its helmets are distributed in 50 countries. Its bicycle helmet ranges includes models for road, MTB, BMX, downhill, kids', women-specific, and commuter.
“Our objective has always been to find an excellent synergy between design, comfort and technology,” said Sean van Waes. “We will continue our focus on developing highly valued products.”
