TimeWarp to carry 'stem lift' function to strike balance been aerodynamics and efficiency

Merida's latest top-end time-trial and triathalon is to feature a 'modular head-tube system capable of lifting the stem by 40mm without the use of additional spacers.

Deisgned to strike a balance between aerodynamics and efficiency, the TimeWarp allows time triallists to place their bars extremely low, while long-distance triathletes can lift their bars to a more comfortable level, all while keeping the frame’s stiffness.

Merida’s head of design – Juergen Falke – the man behind the design is a 9 ½ hour full Ironman competitor, who himself sought to find the ideal balance between over all aerodynamics and efficiency.

The Time Warp is available as a frame set and a complete bike. The production bike will come with the featured SRAM S80/60 wheel set.
