Manufacturer's X-Dome technology goes nine-speed
Details of Sram's new nine-speed cassette have now been released.
Weighing in at 175 grams, the XG999 cassette employs Sram's X-Glide and X-done technologies in its design.
Seven of the nine cogs are CNC-machined together out of a single block of billet steel, creating an incredibly lightweight, precise and strong cassette.
Availability in the UK has been scheduled for mid-March. Pricing is still to be confirmed.
