POC and Slipstream Sports come together

POC and Slipstream Sports announced yesterday that they have established a three-year partnership, which will extend the current helmet and eyewear collaboration and kit Cannondale-Drapac team riders in POC gear.

The 2017 team kit, which will be used from January 1st 2017, will be revealed at the Rouleur Classic show in London on November 4th, with team riders in the presence of Ryan Mullen and Davide Formolo, and Charly Wegelius.

Oscar Huss, Head of Product Development, POC commented: “We are excited about our continued partnership with the Cannondale-Drapac Pro Cycling Team, especially as our experiences since 2014 have been very positive. As the team operates in a unique, high-performance environment we are constantly able to refine our equipment, ensuring that our products and the riders excel at the very highest level. The feedback we gain is an important tool which allows us to improve, innovate and refine our products.

“We know from experience with the team and experts in our aerodynamic group, WATTS Lab, that our helmets, Octal and Cerebel, are safe and fast. However, as we celebrate our 10th anniversary, the ability to bring our road bike apparel, mission, and rider safety to the fore over the next few seasons is inspiring."

“We’ve been partners with POC since the 2014 season and their innovation and support to the team has been critical in many of our achievements. I’m proud to call POC a partner, as they offer performance and quality, understand our needs perfectly and can support our future objectives," said Jonathan Vaughters, CEO of Slipstream Sports and Cannondale-Drapac. "Their mission, coupled with our overall approach to rider sustainability, is a true reflection on our goals with Cannondale-Drapac team riders. The emphasis POC puts on performance and safety is important to all of us on the team.”
