Sheldon Brown died last night of a massive heart attack.New was carried on the website of Harris Cyclery of the US, where he had worked.
His bike tech pages on the shop website are some of the bike world's most visited pages, linked from thousands of websites.
He was also noted for his April Fool spoofs. Who could ever forget the Real Man Saddle, made from granite?
