Showing existing cyclists getting a kick out of a pedal-assisted boost, the new Spencer Ivy promo campaign is video-led
Spencer Ivy of London has produced a promo video for electric bikes, and has received the backing of the Environmental Transport Association.
Spencer Ivy markets German-made electric bikes equipped with Panasonic motors.
A statement from the company said electric bikes "save you time on your travel and parking, saves you money, with the continually increasing train and fuel costs, benefits your health and also the environment with zero emissions."
The tie-up with the ETA is to promote the ETA's comprehensive insurance cover.

Well done Spencer Ivy! Whilst so many others are 'talking' about electric bikes, you are doing things about it,along with your excellent publication on the subject. I find it incredulous that this positive story results in a BB forum posting suggesting that you should 'expect a slap'! The fact that bikes are being spoken about at all is good and we should build upon not drag down to silly industry levels. If Talk Talk are quoting (push) bikes on their banners that's great news....
