After weeks of rain, the sun shines for Tour de France in London
Phil Liggett has it on good authority that the weather will play ball at this weekend's Grand Depart of the Tour de France from London. He had lunch with weather forecaster Sian Lloyd yesterday and she has promised wall to wall sunshine!Liggett was speaking at the launch of Graham Watson's Tour de France photographs. Video of the 'voice of cycling' here. He's tipping Vino for the yellow jersey.
The Tour kicks off tonight with a flash, rider by rider presentation in Trafalgar Square. And at the weekend, pack your sunscreen, not your brolly.
