Cycleguard research reveals opportunities for bike dealers
Health-conscious consumers and commuters motivated by saving money and avoiding traffic point to an upsurge in cycling, according to the findings of Cycleguard’s recent survey.40 per cent of leisure cyclists were motivated to cycle in order to keep fit, while 29 per cent of commuters turned to bikes to save money.
Consumers’ safety fears could also benefit IBDs looking to increase sales of reflective clothing and other protective paraphernalia – with more than a third of cycling commuters feel unsafe on the roads.
