The folding bike company has ads plastered on the inside of MRT trains, ready for next week's Taipei trade show.
Tern has blanket-bombed the MRT light rail system in Taipei with 300 ad slots now sporting the company's 'Open' advertising poster.
Every single train, every single car across all four main lines now has a Tern poster. The campaign started at the weekend and will run until after the Taipei International Cycle Show.
The ads appear next to TAITRA's ads for the Taipei Cycle Show. Many show attendees use the MRT rail system.
Tern's Josh Hon said: "We know of no other bicycle brand, especially folding bicycles, that has ever blanketed an entire major metropolitan area's main public transport system with such a visible statement. Having just launched distribution of Tern in Taiwan on February 14th, we are expecting that this will significantly raise awareness of the brand, both domestically and among all foreign visitors during this period.”

Wow....almost worth flying to Taipei to just see such such an innovative and original advertising campaign! Where do these people get their ideas from?
