A Dutch design company has created a Sheffield bike locking stand with an integral track pump. Neat and very clever.
Jeroen Bruls and Krijn Christiaansen of the HiMom Studio created the Sheffield+ stand for an art project in Ypenburg, a new-build neighbourhood in the Netherlands.Eight pump-stands were placed strategic locations in Ypenburg.
"The goal of the project is to stimulate an interaction between neighbours, while pumping up the tyres of their bicycles," said Christiaansen.
